Installation & Light Guide
Everything you need to bring your lamp to life — whether you’d like us to handle it, or prefer to do it yourself.
Prefer to leave it to us?
We offer professional installation by certified electricians in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We’ll mount the fixture, assemble the glass, and make sure everything hangs perfectly — so you can simply enjoy the result.
Installing it yourself
Installing a Murano-style chandelier is simpler than it looks. The glass and frame are sturdier than they appear — it’s mostly about following the right sequence. That said, the connection to mains electricity should always be done by a qualified electrician.
1. The ceiling fixing
Start with a secure hook or mounting point in the ceiling. Our pieces are weighty thanks to the glass, so the fixing must be rated to hold it comfortably. If you’re unsure, ask an electrician.
2. The frame
Single-frame models — such as a continuous 36-arm design — need no assembly. Simply hang the frame and add the glass.
Multi-part frames assemble from a few sections, joined with the included rods and nuts. An adjustable spanner or a pair of pliers is all you need.
3. The hanging height
Adjust the height by opening the chain links. We recommend two pairs of pliers and a firm hand. Removing the canopy at the top of the cable first makes this easier.
4. The glass
With the glass pieces in place, your chandelier is ready. Turn on the light and enjoy — a genuine piece of Italian craftsmanship, now glowing in your home.
Choosing the right bulb
The bulb you choose shapes everything — how the glass sparkles, how warm the room feels, and how softly you can dim it. Our frames use E14 or E27 sockets (check your model before buying). For E27, choose a smaller bulb shape so the glass doesn’t touch the frame. Use max 40 W per socket, whatever the bulb type.
Colour temperature (Kelvin)
1800–2200K — extra warm and intimate, maximises the glow in the glass.
2700K — classic warm white, a safe everyday choice.
3000K+ — cooler and more neutral; we don’t recommend this for Murano glass.
Brightness (Lumen)
250–400 lm per bulb suits most setups with a dimmer.
470–600 lm gives more output — pair with a dimmer for flexibility.
Heat & wattage
We recommend LED bulbs at 3–6W — they deliver 250–600 lm with very little heat. Incandescent and halogen bulbs give beautiful light but run much warmer.
Dimming
Always choose dimmable bulbs. Dim-to-Warm bulbs (1800–2700K) glow warmer as you dim them down — beautiful with Murano glass.
Clear or frosted?
Clear / filament — maximum sparkle and play in the glass.
Frosted / opal — softer, more even light with less glare.
Our bulb recommendations
Everyday warm (E14): LED, 2700K, clear, dimmable
Everyday warm (E27): LED, 2700K, clear, dimmable, smaller shape
Maximum sparkle: E14 filament, clear, premium LED
Extra cosy glow: E14, 1800K, dim-to-warm
